Leo 2022 year ahead

This is a wonderful time to focus on your children and or your passions. You are desperate to have fun! What about romance?

Do you have children? If not – this is a good time to fall pregnant and have a child.

You are very focused on your personal financial situation and have some concerns. You know what you want to do and yet some how feel stuck. There is some financial uncertainty and it would be important not to stubbornly stick to a financial plan if it is not working.

Connect with friends. You may have a friend in a difficult place and you may be able to provide some emotional support.

You need to find time to step back and reflect. Perhaps you find yourself in a hospital environment?

You seem torn between your children and your desire for professional success. Is it really worth it? What needs to change professionally? What is your understanding of success at this stage in your life? Time to make some fundamental changes. Dream again about your personal and professional ideals.

Volatile period ahead – Aug and Sep 2022

The dominant aspect in the last few years has been Saturn square Uranus. This process started on 20 March 2020 and concludes on 10 December 2022. It is a time of social activism and disruption, as elements of the population (mostly the youth) push for radical changes in society. There is a clash of those wanting change versus those wanting things to stay the same.

This cycle was last active between July 1975 and June 1977. The Soweto uprising took place on June 16 1976 in the middle of this period and shortly before these planets were once again exact on 2 July 1976.

In the mid 1970’s the fight was against Apartheid. Now the flight is against State Capture and Corruption.

Saturn and Uranus were exact 3 times in 2021 – on 17 Feb, 15 June and 24 Dec 2021. The July Insurrection started on the 8 July 2021 and the country watched as unprecedented looting and arson raged for 8 consecutive days. South Africa was in crisis once again.

Although this aspect it not exact again in 2022 it comes very close together again between 26 July and 10 December 2022.

Mars is going to add aggression to this already volatile period when it joins Uranus on 2 August and squares Saturn on 7 August 2022. The first week in August is likely to be particularly volatile.

Uranus rules energy and unexpected events whether these are weather related or natural events like earthquakes. This will be a time of added aggression especially related to war – think Ukraine and Russia. But closer to home expect more disruptions for example industrial strikes and electricity disruptions. Can we expect another period of social unrest? Time will tell. But things are particularly volatile.

It would be excellent to use this time to push for social change – whether energy generation or otherwise. Find a cause and get active – pollution, plastic, education, gender based violence. The list is endless.
