This eclipse is part of the Saros Series 8 South. This is one of the worst series of eclipses. Bernadette Brady indicates this eclipse series is associated with separation and loss. It is time to finish what you started. This series is associated with physical injury especially if you are overstraining yourself. This is not the time for strenuous activities.

William Lilly in 1652 described these eclipses in the first 10 degrees of Libra as very harmful and damaging. They are associated with hailstorms and bad weather, strong winds and violent storms.

The protests started in Tunisia and spread to Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria and Bahrain. Rulers were deposed in Tunisia, Libya and Egypt in 2011 and Yemen in 2012. This Jupiter Uranus conjunction was active between May 2010 and Feb 2011 and was exact on the 8 June, 19 September 2010 and 4 Jan 2011. The protests were ignited by poverty and inflation and a response to political corruption, authoritarianism and human rights violations. The goals were economic freedoms, human rights, social reforms and regime change. The methods of civil disobedience quickly spread via social media and internet activism. This was a new kind of revolution. Uranus is associated with social crisis, revolution, refugees and innovative technology. Jupiter magnifies the crisis.

We are in another period of social disruption. This period is more intense and starts today on 24 March and ends on 18 May 2024. It is exact on 21 April 2024.

This Jupiter Uranus conjunction was active in 1914, 1927/28, 1941, 1954/55, 1968/69, 1983, 1997 and 2010/2011. This is certainly a volatile period and ripe for social unrest and change especially in repressive situations.

The Jupiter Uranus conjunction on 21 April 2024 is very powerfully connected to the chart for Israel. This conjunction connects to the Sun in the chart of Israel. Interesting to see that transiting Pluto was conjunct Markus Jooste’s Sun when he committed suicide this past week. I am not sure of his birth time, but the Sun position would remain at 1 degree Aquarius. The game was up for him in a big way. Pluto speaks about death, loss and surrendering. No longer in control.

Jupiter moves towards Uranus on 24 March 2024 and is exact on 21 April before slowly moving out of conjunction on 18 May 2024. Jupiter deals with issues connected to wealth and stocks, trade, travel, the judiciary and legal issues, education and religious or spiritual matters. This combination of planets is associated with inventors, adventurers and fortune seekers. Uranus is unpredictable and unstable and can lead to sudden or expected changes in events. It is certainly a very unstable period, yet exciting too.

Bitcoin halving will happen on 20 April 2024. This process takes place every 4 years. Stock Exchanges around the world are looking to follow the lead of the US and will be accepting exchange traded notes. The other interesting detail that I read about is that governments now own significant bitcoins – US 215 000 and China 200 000. The UK and Germany are also significant owners of Bitcoin. Governments have mostly accumulated bitcoin through seizures connected to fraud.

It is going to be very interesting to watch what happens during this period across the globe. Watch the weather patterns and unusual earth activity. Jupiter’s role is to magnify what it touches. Uranus is associated with earthquakes, volcanoes, lightning, disruptions and civil unrest, liberation, immigration and refugees and electricity. The one certainty is the unpredictability of Uranus.

Tomorrow 3 March, Venus will square Uranus. Instability when it comes to love and resources. Later in the week on 9 March, Mars will square Uranus. Instability in conflicts. Is a breakthrough possible? This is certainly a volatile week. Uranus likes chaos and uncertainty. Uranus is the disruptor and innovator. It’s trying to find a new path. This is all a prelude to the Jupiter Uranus conjunction on 21 April 2024. Jupiter speaks about knowledge and wealth. Uranus connects with science and innovation. It certainly is an exciting and unsettling time.
