Saturn and Jupiter come together in conjunction every 20 years. This is a dependable, repeatable cycle that we can easily connect with over our lifetimes. Planets move from conjunction to a waxing square, then opposition and finally a waning square before they join again in conjunction. This is just what we see with the Moon each month. This pattern and rhythm will play out over and over depending on which planets we are looking at. Saturn and Jupiter will square approximately 5 years after the conjunction. We are currently at this point in the cycle.
