A system unravelling. Death of the boys club? The rich, powerful elites across the world that the system protects instead of protecting the most vulnerable.

This chart indicates that you are not content emotionally within yourself. This creates tension in your relationship. There is pressure in this chart financially – personal and joint resources connected to debt and the home and family responsibilities. Are you living beyond your means? What sacrifices and adjustments do you need to make at home? Is it time to move or downsize? How will these changes impact your children and schools/community?

There is a lot going on here as Saturn moves into Aries for the final time and will stay there until April 2028.

Saturn is fallen in Aries. Saturn teaches us about discipline and structure and the need to take responsibility for our actions. What we realise is that sometimes our actions can be harmful to others. Saturn teaches us about boundaries and the need to say no – this is not working for me. We are now very close to the exact conjunction with Saturn and Neptune on 20 Feb 2026. Neptune dissolves structures that are no longer fit for purpose. The veil is lifted – what is revealed? What did we not want to see? How is this connected to our belief system?

Apartheid was a system of oppression that dissolved with the collapse of communism and a changing world order. When Saturn was last in Aries, the Constitutional Court approved the constitution on 4 Dec 1996 and this became the supreme law of the land. With autocratic power rising across the world this is a document we need to fight to protect individually and collectively.

As we contemplate the next Saturn Neptune conjunction, what of the government’s liberation policies are outdated and need to be reimagined? Lies and deception will cause the collapse of the system. There are many South Africans that are disillusioned with our current political trajectory.

So Neptune asks what sacrifices we are willing to make individually and collectively to meet our new ideals? What actions do we need to take individually and collectively to achieve our long-term potential? None of this is easy but it is certainly possible. It will take dedication and commitment to achieve the dream – the rainbow nation. We seem to have drifted off course. If we remain in victim mindset, we will not make progress. It is time to heal individually and collectively and to take responsibility for our own journeys. It is up to us individually to be the change we want to see in SA and the world. Never underestimate the power of a small action to change the world. Now is the time.

Concepts

Far from Equilibrium: The system is unstable, chaotic, in crisis and this allows for potential transformation.

Small Islands of Coherence: Small groups, initiatives or individuals who align with focus, and who operate in a higher state of consciousness can create change.

Shifting the System: These small, coherent islands can act as “seeds” or “leverage points” that ripple outward, reorganising the entire system into a new, more advanced and functional structure or system.

With Uranus stationary direct tomorrow on 3 February, we need to believe that from chaos can come a new order. With so much pressure astrologically from all outer planets – Pluto, Neptune, Saturn and Uranus – this is entirely possible.

On 3 February Uranus stations and travels direct. This unpredictable, volatile planet will square Trump Mars on Asc. What action will he take?

Mars is conjunct Mars in chart of Iran. This planet is associated with force and aggression and will oppose Pluto in Trump chart. What emerges from the shadows?

Tomorrow 3 February, Uranus stations and moves direct on the Fixed Star – Caput Algol. This star is associated with the concept of loosing one’s head. Uranus is unpredictable and volatile. It is associated with chaos and revolution, innovation too. It will square the Mars in both the chart of Israel and Trump.

Lots of pressure on China chart. Mars/Pluto conjunct Moon – ordinary people and very frustrated. Moon is associated with the public service – ruler of 6th. Pluto associated with debt and taxation. Xi purged top military generals – what else will transpire?

Uranus opposed MC – indicates a volatile situation at home for government. Uranus could also indicate a chaotic environmental event.

Saturn and Neptune will soon aspect Uranus on 6th indicating social unrest and disillusionment.

Saturn will also oppose Sun, Mercury, Neptune and South Node highlighting pressure on the economy.

This is a very interesting video about the history of great empires – the rise and fall over time. What interested me was the understanding of a 500 year cycle and a 250 year cycle.

In astrology, the Pluto cycle is 248 years and the Neptune cycle is 164 years. Pluto and Neptune have the longest cycles. They are both frequently used in understanding cycles and systems globally. These 2 planets come together in a very long 493 to 500 year cycle. You will see these 2 time bands being used to explain the rise and fall of the great empires from the Dutch to the British and then the USA.

We are in a period of extraordinary change with 3 outer planets changing signs – Pluto into Aquarius – last in this sign between 1777 and 1798. This cycle started again in 2023 and ends in 2044. This is the 248 year cycle. Back in history, this cycle was associated with US independence and French Revolution.

Neptune is now moving into Aries – last in this sign between 1861 and 1875. This cycle started again in 2025 and ends in 2039. This in the 164 year cycle. This cycle was associated with the abolishment of slavery in the US.

The Neptune Pluto that we are currently in started in 1890’s. It will conclude in 2385. We are not going to witness the end of this period! The core themes are associated with collective beliefs, myth and power structures. What does a civilisation believe in and who controls that belief?

Pluto is always associated with power/control/death/decay.

Neptune is always associated with dreams/ideals/spiritual path/deception/illicit activities like drugs and alcohol and the oceans/shipping/navy/ports.  

The stress points in the cycle will come with the 0/90/180 degree aspects.

• Neptune conjunct Pluto – 1891 to 1892 – degrees 7/8 Gemini – mass persuasion and ideological empires.
• Neptune waxing square Pluto – 2061 to 2065 – degrees 23 to 28 Gemini/Pisces – crisis of trust in global system.
• Neptune opposed Pluto – 2137 to 2141 – degrees 7 to 14 Sagittarius/Gemini – two world views in open conflict
• Neptune waning square Pluto – 2309 to 2312 –degrees 24 to 29 Sagittarius/Pisces – dissolution of outdated belief systems.
• Neptune conjunct Pluto – 2385 – 12 Gemini – new collective myth.

This can be summarised as humanity’s long journey from mass illusion to mass awakening to a rewritten collective dream.

These planets will now form a sextile (60 degree aspect) between Jul 2026 and Feb 2032 – degrees 4 to 14 Aries/Aquarius. They have been in sextile before from 1950 to 1956 – the National Party came into power in 1948. Another sextile between 1976 to 1986. Certainly these were turbulent times in SA especially the more recent period of 1976 to 1986 which signalled the end of Apartheid.

Uranus will be moving into Gemini between 2025 and 2033. Uranus was last in Gemini between 1941 and 1949 – WW2 and the establishment of United Nations, NATO, World Bank and IMF. It is this post WW2 order that is currently under threat. Uranus will trigger the conjunction degrees of 7/8 Gemini in 2028.

The Soviet Union conducted a total military withdrawal from Afghanistan between 15 May 1988 and 15 February 1989. This brought the Soviet–Afghan War to a close after nearly a decade of fighting.

This withdrawal also happened with a Saturn Neptune conjunction. It will be interesting to see what happens this time when Saturn and Neptune become exact on 20 February 2026.

Tomorrow 26 January 2026 Neptune moves into Aries. Things are shifting individually and collectively. This is a time of healing. Time to move out of victim mindset. Lift the veil. Take responsibility for your own healing journey. What sacrifices will you need to make? When we are triggered we still have work to do personally. We can continue on a path of wanting to escape pain using substances that facilitate escape like drugs or alcohol. But this is a destructive process. Higher expression would be to seek healing and support on your recovery journey .
