Partial lunar eclipse – 28 Oct 2023

This eclipse is certainly very powerful for the SA chart of 27 April 1994. Moon opposed Sun at 5 degrees Taurus/Scorpio, this eclipse will conjunct our Sun in SA chart shining a powerful light on the leadership of the country and the opposition. The Sun in the SA chart also connects to our relations with other countries. What pressures from the outside world force changes in our country?

Uranus in the eclipse chart opposes the Moon in the SA chart. The Moon in SA chart is fallen in Scorpio indicating that the people are weak, and they are easily manipulated by the government. Moon in the SA chart speaks about public services, those being police, nursing and teachers and public servants in general. This indicates that the people are fed up with the lack of service delivery. Uranus opposing the Moon indicates that a big shake up is necessary. Ordinary people are now restless and want significant change. Service delivery must significantly improve to radically change the lives of ordinary South Africans.

Pluto connects with Uranus in the 12th house of the SA chart. All manner of skullduggery needs to be brought to the surface. Uranus speaks about revolution and Pluto power. These issues are colliding. Uranus is also associated with electricity – we are literally in the dark. The hidden and devious issues related to Eskom and the behind-the-scenes power dynamics must be shown to us. We might have to be insistent and hold those in power accountable for this crisis. Nobody has been convicted of crimes related to corruption in SA. Will this fundamentally change?

It is this notion of history repeating itself that fascinates me.
