South Africa 2024 year ahead

1st quarter

The President is once again operating behind the scenes not visible to those he represents. The focus of this chart is the youth and this is where the opportunities of our future resides. There is an opportunity for them to participate in our democracy and not to sit and watch from the sidelines. Parliament and treasury are in trouble. There are financial issues that need to be resolved. Money is tight and the economy and ordinary people are hugely in debt. This chart indicates that we have to organise and restructure the roads/rail and communication access for all South Africans. This lack of access is making it harder for ordinary people and slowing the economy. The chart also focuses on our relationship with neighbouring countries and once again speaks about needing to find long term solutions to the movement of people/goods and opportunities for all. The opposition seem to be somewhat idealist and or delusional. They haven’t organised significantly at this stage in opposition to the government. But they seem to be focussed on the youth and getting them engaged in the democratic process which is positive.

2nd quarter

The President is visible! He is shown as idealistic and delusional and perhaps somewhat out of touch. He also seems to realise the importance of the youth in terms of our future and will use any sporting success to his advantage. This chart speaks about the importance of adulting up – taking responsibility for where we find ourselves as a country and fixing the problems for a sustainable future. We might expect a big breakthrough with roads/rail and communication. The economy is a focus and ordinary people are looking for opportunities to trade. We could see some big changes to one of our neighbouring countries – most probably Zimbabwe. Parliament and Treasury are in real trouble – resources are running out and we are drowning in debt. Parliament needs to be rebuilt post the devasting fires and the cost is likely in excess of R2 billion. Imagine what we could have done with that money? And who is responsible? The 2024 election is likely to happen in this quarter. The opposition will focus on the economy and government will likely focus on roads/rail and communication and the hot issue of Zimbabwe.

3rd quarter

This chart is most likely post elections and interestingly all focus is with the opposition. Will the government have to form a government in coalition? This doesn’t look easy and could be difficult to manage. The people and most especially the youth will have spoken. Do they come in greater numbers to the polls to chart a more optimistic future for our country? Do the opposition find ways of working together post the election? This issue of roads/rail and communication is still causing conflict together with the situation with our neighbours probably Zimbabwe. Once again, the chart is clear about South Africa needing to grow up – it is our Saturn Return after all. We are 30 years post 1994 democratic elections. There are massive issues we need to fix to get back on track to the dreams of 1995 which have not been realised. South Africans are disappointed. Parliament and Treasury are in trouble. As a country we have a massive debt crisis.

4th quarter

The government/President and parliament and treasury are in a spot of bother. There is no money and there is no more room for being Mr Nice guy. Ordinary people are struggling financially and our economy remains sluggish. Our image is battered with poor service and corruption. There are issues with police, military and crime intelligence. The situation with our neighbours looks very difficult. This issue of corruption and smuggling from neighbouring countries using our rail/road/ports is a real problem and causing great harm. Does something change significantly in Zimbabwe? There is certainly an indication that dictators are in trouble and a coup or overthrow of a neighbouring government is possible.

The Zimbabwe chart of 18 April 1980 has 1 degree Aquarius as the Asc. This point in the chart will come under immense pressure at Pluto moves into Aquarius this year and next. We should expect a significant change going forward. The situation is not sustainable and will need to collapse to rebuild. The Sun in Zimbabwe chart sits at 28 Aries and with Pluto having made an aspect to this Sun – the President/leadership – there is huge pressure to expose all the corruption which is having a massive impact on SA with all the illicit flow of goods/resources into and out of SA. The period from 2022 to 2025 will be very significant for Zimbabwe and any changes there will have a knock on effect in SA.
